I love that no matter what Alex is saying to excuse himself they just laugh that menacing laughter.

The fact that they knew where they were taking him. Gives the impression that this isn't the first time they drowned and beaten a random person.

Another cool hidden aspect is that , as seen shortly after this scene in the movie, the old man in wheelchair says something about this rumor,that the government is hiring ex criminals in police department. By doing so the government is taking advantage of the violent tendencies of these criminals , and thats also explains why Dim and George did not look like it was the first time they were drowning someone in that bath .

Hahaha. Love that Alex' murderous urges are manifested by his gagging. He's pleading for mercy and at the same time, programatically subverting his desire to kill Georgie and Dim, which he especially wants to do. Funny, the two could have easily killed him without redress, but of course, that would have ended the movie. I guess we can say, that they wanted him to suffer but not die, for the sake of the plot.

I can´t imagine how many times McDowell actually must´ve thrown up due to gagging so much. Making yourself burp and groan like that must have that effect right. Also wanna say that this scene is just amazing. The music that kicks in to remind us that this is what Alex´s life is now, his fellow droogs are now police and hold no sorts of softness awareded to him. He is all alone from his past life. He does deserve it though

In the Book it was supposed to be Dim and Billy.
